Skin Type Analysis

As an esthetician, the first step in our professional treatment is analyzing and determining your skin type. While there are four basic skin types – dry, oily, sensitive, and combination – most people can have other characteristics different from their skin type. For example, an oily skin client may have surface dehydration.
Many people will misdiagnosis dehydration for dry skin and switch to a heavier, creamier moisturizer that is too rich for their skin. Therefore, it is important to properly analyze the skin to insure proper diagnosis and correct selection of treatments and products.

Based on our diagnostic procedure we help you to:

  • Understand your personal skin type profile and explanations as to why your skin acts the way it does
  • Select the products most suitable for your skin type
  • Reviews of skincare products on or poised to enter the market
  • Give you dietary and lifestyle advice for beautiful skin
  • Update you on new cosmetic procedures such as Botox, lasers, fillers and other treatments
  • Give seasonal skincare advice and travel tips to ensure good skin when you travel
